The OEWF was established recently by three partners:

Iqraa Trust (South Africa)

Iqraa Trust was established by Albaraka Bank in 1994. Iqraa Trust’s mission is to improve the quality of life of all South Africans from impoverished backgrounds, irrespective of their race, colour or religion. The Trust utilizes its resources to implement solutions to poverty and unemployment in South Africa.

It therefore focuses on education, skills development, health care and social development. In this way, Iqraa Trust empowers those who are less fortunate to help eradicate poverty and to contribute positively towards a better South Africa for all.
