IQRAA TRUST (SA)

Iqraa Trust was established by Albaraka Bank in 1994. Iqraa Trust’s mission is to improve the quality of life of all South Africans from impoverished backgrounds, irrespective of their race, colour or religion. The Trust utilizes its resources to implement solutions to poverty and unemployment in South Africa.

It therefore focuses on education, skills development, health care and social development. In this way, Iqraa Trust empowers those who are less fortunate to help eradicate poverty and to contribute positively towards a better South Africa for all.

ALBARAKA BANK

Established in 1989, the Bank endeavours to reflect the Islamic economic system in all its products and operations and has branches throughout all the main centres in South Africa.

The bank’s many products cater for both the individual and the business sector.

From the outset, the Bank has generously contributed funds to organizations and institutions who work tirelessly towards making South Africa a better place to live in.

ISLAMIC RELIEF (SA)

Islamic Relief South Africa is an independently registered NGO and forms part of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), who has implemented over 360 projects across more than 40 countries.

Islamic Relief works in the following sectors:

  • Emergency Relief;

  • Development – Education and Training, Health and Nutrition, Water and Sanitation, Income Generation;

  • Orphans welfare and support;

  • Raising funds for relief and development projects across the globe
